Installing Microsoft Word
Installing Microsoft Word is a straightforward process, whether you’re using a Windows PC or a Mac. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through it:
For Windows PC

Purchase or Subscribe
Visit the Microsoft Office website to purchase Microsoft Word or subscribe to Microsoft 365. Microsoft 365 includes Word along with other Office applications.

Sign In
After purchasing, sign in with your Microsoft account. If you don’t have one, you’ll need to create it.

Download The Installer
Once you’re signed in, navigate to the “Services & subscriptions” section. Find Microsoft Word or Microsoft 365, then click on “Install Office” and select “Office 365 apps” from the dropdown menu.

Run the Installer
A setup file will be downloaded to your computer. Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to begin the installation process.

Complete Installation
The installer will download and install Microsoft Word along with other Office apps. This process can take a few minutes depending on your internet speed and computer performance.
